These terms cover the use of this website only. They are short because this website does very little — it describes a service we are building and lets you join a waitlist.
These are not the terms of the BoraRide service. BoraRide has not launched. Nothing on this website is an offer to carry you anywhere, a booking, or a contract for transport. When the platform launches, a separate Terms of Service will govern trips, payments, cancellations and everything else, and you will be asked to agree to it then.
This website is operated by BoraRide Carpool Ltd, a company incorporated in Kenya, trading as BoraRide. Contact: info@boraridecarpool.com.

Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation on either side. It does not reserve you a seat, guarantee you a place on the platform, or promise that any particular route will open.
You must be 18 or over to join.
We handle the details you give us as described in our Privacy Notice. You can ask to be removed at any time.
This website describes how BoraRide is intended to work. Features, routes, timings and prices shown here are our current intentions. They may change, and the launch may be delayed or may not happen at all.
Any route information — distances, journey times, the corridors listed — is indicative and offered for illustration. Don't rely on it for planning actual travel.
The map of Kenyan road corridors on this site is a schematic drawing, not a survey map. It is not suitable for navigation.
These terms cover this website only. Travelling with BoraRide will be governed by separate passenger and driver terms, published in the app before the first trip. Those will set out the fare rules, cancellation, what drivers must hold by way of insurance, and how disputes are handled. Nothing on this site forms part of them.
The BoraRide name, logo, and the text, design and images on this site belong to BoraRide Carpool Ltd or are used with permission. You may not reproduce them commercially without our written agreement.
Referring to BoraRide in news coverage, discussion or research is fine and welcome.
Where we link elsewhere, we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
We try to keep this site available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw it at any time.
To the extent Kenyan law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 2012.
We may update these terms as the site develops. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Kenya.
